MELOLIN™ Dressing

The highly absorbent and low-adherent MELOLIN™ dressing from Smith & Nephew is used as a wound dressing for light to moderately exuding wounds. It consists of three different layers; a low adherent perforated film, a highly absorbent cotton/polyester pad and a hydrophobic backing layer. The dressing cushions and protects the wound. It also provides a significant improvement in terms of strike-through, therefore fewer dressing changes are required.
