The "Filta-Guard" bacteria and virus filter from Intersurgical is an extremely efficient electrostatic breathing filter with a filter performance of 99.999 %. The filter is tested for standard organisms, such as hepatitis C and mycobacterium tuberculosis and is popular for use in anaesthesia and intensive medicine. The filter is available with or without Luer port or with the "Superset" catheter mount.
