Caresite® Luer Access Device

The Caresite® connector from B. Braun is a closed system needleless connector with positive displacement feature which helps to reduce the risk of IV catheter occlusions while protecting healthcare workers from accidental needlestick injuries. The Caresite® needless connector has a smooth surface that is easy to clean and disinfect and the clear design helps verify proper flush.

The closed system needless connector with positive fluid displacement prevents backflow of blood into the catheter lumen. This facilitates patient care and helps to reduce the risk of vascular catheter-associated infections.
